Staff paper — also called manuscript paper — provides the standard five-line musical staff, repeated down the page in systems with barlines marking each system's start and end. It's blank sheet music, ready for composing, transcribing by ear, or handwriting practice exercises for music theory and notation.
Set the line gap (the spacing between the five lines within one staff) in real millimeters; the tool fits as many complete systems as your chosen page size and margins allow, spaced generously enough to leave room for notes, stems, and lyrics beneath each staff. Choose US Letter or A4 and adjust line weight so the staff lines are clear without competing with what you write on them.
2mm is a common default for standard notation. Use a slightly wider gap if you write large or need extra room for ledger lines and articulation marks above and below the staff.
